Purposefully Blended is a boutique consultancy specialising in providing support to Global Training Managers and field-based First-Line Managers. They are experts in learning design, strategy, implementation and measurement; team development; leadership and transforming culture through the power of coaching.
Purposefully Blended work with organisations across industries, as leaders and as consultants, to help them unlock their internal capabilities to achieve performance breakthroughs. Their clients include global companies such as
LEO Pharma,
Animalcare and Edwards Vacuum.
Purposefully Blended (previously know as Perfectly Blended) contacted MV Create, based on a recommendation, when they were looking to recreate the artwork for their existing logo, due to a company name change. They also wanted some bespoke branding guidelines (in particular relating to logo use, colour palette and typography) and a new sub brand created. This 'sub brand' would require both a new logo design and artwork for their signature impactTM model.
Over the course of the project the scope also grew to include design and creation of a new website, icons, social media post templates, online forms, digital certification badges and powerpoint presentation slides - plus lots more!
MV Create liaised with Purposefully Blended to gain a deeper understanding of the company's goals and audience. This was key in being able to define which assets and style would appeal to the target client and stand out from competitors.
In terms of generating the brand guidelines, Purposefully Blended preferred to spend a limited amount of time and resource on delving into the nitty gritty of brand strategy. They felt that they already knew their target audience, story and brand character. As a result, MV Create didn't undertake a lot of work on these aspects but we did spend some valuable time defining their core positioning and writing style to ensure consistency of output. (This was also in consultation with Write-up Communications.)
The company name had been changed from Perfectly Blended to Purposefully Blended. They liked their existing logo but didn't have the original artwork files and no longer had contact with the previous designer. The client therefore needed MV Create to recreate the logo with the new name and identify a similar font that could be utilised.
MV Create worked on the new logo, finding a very similar typeface to the existing one. We also went one step further to provide Purposefully Blended with numerous logo variations in a variety of formats. The client was delighted to have this versatility with their refreshed brand!
Purposefully Blended were keen to apply their brand style in all aspects of their visuals. MV Create were therefore ask to provide a set of icons to cover aspects such as social media, feelings, actions and people. In total a set of around 50 icons were created, some of which are featured below.
Purposefully Blended required logo design for their new signature impactTM system. The brief required the logo to be bold and 'impactful', and to have a global aspect to it, along with incorporating the idea of a compass. It also needed to utilise the Purposefully Blended colour palette. The client was delighted with the resulting logo designed by MV Create.
Purposefully Blended had developed a signature system that they required a visual concept for. Based on the brief provided, MV Create designed a bespoke wheel that included the new impactTM logo with sections of the wheel representing the different pillars of the model: influence, measuring, partnership, alignment, coaching and transformation. The brand colour palette for Purposefully Blended was also utilised to provide cohesiveness with the rest of the existing brand.
Purposefully Blended wanted a bespoke illustration that they could use in some of their presentations and marketing materials. The brief was to create a 'super woman' and 'super man', utilising the new impactTM logo and the slogon 'You've got them. Who's got you?'.
MV Create created the bespoke artwork and it has since been used within the business in a variety of formats.
Purposefully Blended partnered with Credly to provide their clients with a digital badge certification for the training received. MV Create were asked to design and create 2 badges (Basic and Expert) for each of the 6 pillars of the impact™ system. These needed to be 'on brand', professional and distinctive.
Once MV Create had finalised the brand strategy and visual identity, we applied the updated Purposefully Blended logo, impactTM model elements and style, to the design of a new professional website.
This new bespoke website was fully optimised for desktop, tablet and mobile. It featured pages customised for its target audience, along with resources, insights and lead magnets. Data capture was also integrated with Zoho CRM.
Within the website we also designed a specific sales landing page to capture leads for customers potentially interested in signing up to Purposefully Blended's exclusive Group Coaching solution.
Purposefully Blended were delighted with their new website and asked MV Create to generate additional 'on brand' assets for their business. This included posters, postcards, signage, articles and social media designs.
Throughout the course of the project, Purposefully Blended launched a series of events in the form of LinkedIn Live Audio and Video. These events were then also turned into podcasts. MV Create created the advertisements for these events, along with the artwork for the podcast episodes.
Purposefully Blended began to outsource their presentation design and editing to MV Create. This ranged from simply 'tidying-up' slides to creating new slides, content, models, diagrams and infographics.
MV Create were also involved in the design and editing of slides for numerous high-profile global clients of Purposefully Blended such as Animalcare, Argus Media, Atlas Copco, Curia, Edwards Vacuum, Gilead, LEO Pharma and unum.

MV Create developed a full brand identity, providing the company with the tools to support a long-term plan for business scaling. The brand benefited from an effective visual identity (updated logo design, colours, typography), social media design and new website. They also benefited from a logo and supporting materials for their signature impact system.
The initial project was completed in six weeks but Purposefully Blended were so happy with the results that they went on to significantly expand the scope of the project into other areas. This also resulted in the client signing MV Create up to a monthly retainer. MV Create are now responsible for all aspects of Purposefully Blended's marketing materials, along with maintaining and updating their new website and offering other ad-hoc business support services.
